Chillin' in the Water

The last few weeks have been great! I’ve been having some great family and friend time. I’ve also been able to focus on a few things that have been fun. As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been able to work out at my parents’ gym for free. I have really been taking advantage of it. I’ve been hitting the gym five times a week for the last two weeks. I am so excited to think that I’ll be able to do it all summer! I also started taking scuba diving classes this week. I’ve really enjoyed that. It was strange to begin with. I am so used to breathing with my nose, but you can’t use your nose with basic scuba gear. So far, we have only been doing it in a practice pool, but we’ll be going to a lake this weekend. I am so excited about it! After, that I’ll be certified, and I can cross something off of my “Things to do before I die” list. It is so peaceful under water. I'd recomend scuba diving to anyone. Rest and Trust

Well, it has been a great week! It has been great to be able to spend some time with my parents and close friends. This next week, I am planning to reconnect with more friends, now that the jet lag is finally over. I also found out that I will not be able to work at the job that I worked at last summer. It seems that they are too far behind in the project that I was working on, and I won’t have enough time to complete it while I am home. This does of course, cause some financial worry, but I am not overly concerned. God has taken care of me so far, and I have no doubt that He will continue to do so. I also think that He has other plans for me this summer. This past school year has been a wild roller coaster ride. There has been good and bad, and with all of that I have found myself exhausted. I really believe that God may be telling me to rest this summer. I am going to use the time to rebuild myself and get charged back up for the next school year. One really cool thing happened. I wa
